My youngest daughter attended nursery school two years ago, and I remember that when it snowed I would wait for the decision to be made that school had either been delayed or canceled. It seemed to me that the decision would often come very late, too close to the wire. And sometimes the wrong decision seemed to be made - canceled when clearly nothing major in the atmosphere was going one, and not canceled when a virtual blizzard was brewing. But I have more sympathy with the decision-makers today as my friend and I anxiously try to decide whether or not our homeschool group should be canceled.
Either way, I'm happy to look out the window and see what looks powdered sugar everywhere.
